This is a light peated whisky that has the peat touch from cask that have previously held Peated Scotish Islay whisky. We don’t get to know from which Islay distillery the casks are from.

If you are looking for a smoke bomb, this is not the whisky you are after, but it is a pleasant after dinner dram without the heaviness.
A good whisky to get the feeling of smoke if you are new to peated whiskies.

The new casks from Jerez in Spain have contained Oloroso sherry in some casks and PX (Pedro Ximenez) Sherry in other of the casks. The sherry has been in the casks for one year.

Tasting Elements – Single Malt – Sherry Cask I must admit it surprised me quite a bit.

I am having a hard time finding the classic sherry notes and it behaves like Gin in the taste.
A surprisingly different sherry whisky but still at pleasant and interesting whisky.

This is a fine young single malt whisky with sweetness, vanilla, floral notes with a short finish. Then again it is actually not that short. If you don’t consume anything after sipping the whisky you will have a lovely oak taste staying with you.

The Milk and Honey Distillery is from 2014 and it is pretty good that we can get our hands on this lovely whisky in Denmark. It is the first commercial bottling from the distillery.
Released in January 2020 and it came to Denmark in 2020.

The whisky is young, just about 4 years, but the climate in Tel Aviv allows the whisky to mature faster.
They have an Angles Share at about 9% pr. year, so don’t let it mature to long or it will be gone in a short time.
When at the maturation I can tell that it has been sitting in manly

I am looking forward to tasting more from M&H Distillery in the future.
